Hassan bahi , yesterday my wife received Email for my PASS PORT REQUEST and Photo , i will submit to CVAC in Bangkok , Finally they are doing very quick letter for pass port request was prepare on 19 October , cant believe after so long waiting time now every thing moving very fast

Visa possessing depends on visa office work pressure and after interview the “Passport Request” depends on ---

1. Medical (If not expired)
2. Police clearance (If not expired)
3. Update Form
4. Landing fee (If not paid)


After interview the visa office send re-medical request within one week or1 or 2 month later (depends on applicant application story). When visa office received re- medical report the Ecas change into “Decision Made” and after 1 or two week later the visa office send passport request email.


If any applicant stay foreign country more than six months the background check need time and in this situation, the passport request delay.

When applicant submit his or her passport to the visa office and the applicant will get his or her passport with visa 1 month or 1 month 15 days later.

So, if not re-medical, no updated police needed, no new forms and landing fee paid. Then we should expect PPR several weeks.

Hello htquach,

Sorry it is medical mistakenly write re-medical. The visa office request police clearance and medical if any applicant police clearance and medical expired.

If both police clearance and medical are not expired and applicant already paid his or her landing fee in this situation the visa office request only passport.

But if any applicant stayed six month another country in this situation the background check needs time and for this reason the passport request will delay.

Hello Jupiter,

The medical and police clearance expires in one year. The visa office request medical or police clearance if it is expired. If your police clearance or medical is not expired the visa office will not request it again.

It depends, but yes. Usually they ask for one if it expires before your visa is approved.

I applied June 2014 and my file transfer Singapore August 2014. The Visa office return my all documents with my interview query letter in September 2014. After 17 months (17 February 2016) later visa office send my interview date email and I faced interview 14 March 2016. After one month, later (19 April 2016) visa office send me Re-Medical request. In May 3,2016, the visa office send me passport request email and I submit my passport 4 May 2016. I got my passport with visa 1 month 15 days (19 June 2016) later. I landed 8 September 2016 in Canada and I got my PR card within 6 weeks.

Hlo frnds please suggest...i had telephonic interview on 23 sep and on 24 sep i got mail in my email account fron donotreply@cic.com ..that there is update in your gckey account check your account message and status for further information...but its 23 oct now till thaat there is no change in gc account...suggestion are heartly welcomed.

Hi,

Send them an email referring to your UCI number and file number to inform them that you haven't received any update in your gc key account. Also you can submit the request through CSE.
