Spousal Sponsorship Inside Canada AND Student Visa Permitted ?

Hello, I posted this on the International Student board also as I'm not sure who would have the answer.

Can a person who is applying from INSIDE Canada for PR - sponsored by spouse who is a Canadian citizen -
Can that person apply for a student Visa?
It's for a one year Post-Graduate degree program, in the field of their
undergraduate degree, and they have 8 years of work experience in the same professional field?

yes - the PR process and the Student Visa are separate, and you can apply for one while having already applied for the other one.
