Spousal Sponsorship from Canada

I filed my husband sponsorship last year in May 2014 directly from Canada. Since then there is no response so far

Guys i have few queries

1. Is timelines are same for people who apply from Pakistan or Canada?

Recently my husband receive an email directly from UK Office asking me the following

-CSQ: Quebec selection certificate.



-An explanation for the timeframe of almost 3 years between marriage and submission of your application.



-Copy of passport pages showing entry/ exit stamps as evidence of sponsor’s presence in Pakistan from 08/12 – 02/14. Please provide any other available proof of cohabitation during this period.



-Updated Pakistan police certificate.

Please guide me what is CSQ? and What is the status of my application? How long would it take for my husband to acquire PR status?

Looks like they are asking for the Certificat de sélection du Québec and here is the link on how to obtain it

I take it you have got your sponsorship approval and the applicant's UCI number by now and should be able to check the status online.

Yes i got my UCI number.....

When iwas applying for the sponsorship there was a form regarding CSQ and it says that if you are a quebec resident you dont need to fill out the form unless you are a refugee or you need protection. Im Canadian citizen and a Quebec resident therefore i guess i dont need to fill this form or do I?

Could you also tell me the status of my application imean how long would it take

I am not sure of the processing time for an application from Pakistan being processed in the UK. You can get a better idea of the actual timeline from the Pakistani sponsorship thread which you have posted the question
