Spousal PR revoke

Hi all,

I applied my PR and added spouse as dependent when she came to visit me on tourist visa. I'm currently working in canada. My wife and I have decided to divorce but we must wait 1 year as per Indian law to divorce in india. So we haven't officially done anything. Currently she is not in Canada, she is in india. Should I just submit a webform and select sponsorship category and say that I want to revoke spouse PR alone? I am the primary applicant and i got PR invite using only my crs score in express entry.

Please let me know at the earliest as i read that once PR comes we will be unable to revoke it.

Well proof of divorce or separation is a legal document which you currently do not have. Do not submit the withdrawal webform because they may withdraw your primary application. There is an option for sponsorship, send them a letter of explanation outlining your circumstance. I would also suggest you call IRCC for them to give you the absolute correct info.
