I did not know I can file the divorce in Canada even though we got married in the home country. Did you file the divorce to the canada court?

It's very complicated here as you have to serve the documents through Hague Convention if your spouse's country is part of that and which takes almost 5 months
Do you think you have to wait until the divorce is fully made and get the divorce certificate before getting FD..? Sorry for a lot of questions..

Any lawyer can do that. And you can do that without a lawyer. It's all quite straightforward.
Nobody knows... I am waiting for my update and I asked everybody on this forum and other platforms who had similar condition in past but nobody responded plus chatGPT doesn't have answer for it too
