Spousal open work permit from India

Hi,
I want to apply for my spouse's open work permit from India(Gujarat). Can someone please let me know if they are being processed right now? What is the situation of biometrics and how files are being processed?

I applied in Feb and ordered GCMS. Mine got approved (SOWP) but the IRCC didnt update their website yet.

@Neerja.k : SOWP ->sumbitted on 21 Feb, Biometrics on Mar 3, Biometrics correspondence letter on May 1. Ordered GCMS yesterday. I realized that application is approved but the website still shows "in progress". Country: India

Oh my god!
Its been 6 months even with biometrics
I haven’t even applied yet
Its gonna take atleast half a year then

Hi,
Can you help me, I am going to be married in Nov 2020, I have enrolled for Jan 2021 Intake for a PGDM Course. Should I defer my intake? Get married and Apply for my and my wife together? or go there study for 2 semesters and then apply for her work permit.
