Spousal open work permit from India

Hi,
I want to apply for my spouse's open work permit from India(Gujarat). Can someone please let me know if they are being processed right now? What is the situation of biometrics and how files are being processed?

It usually takes many months and that was pre-covid.

Oh my god!
Its been 6 months even with biometrics
I haven’t even applied yet
Its gonna take atleast half a year then

You will still need special permission to travel due to travel restrictions unless you have a confirmed job.

Hi,
Can you help me, I am going to be married in Nov 2020, I have enrolled for Jan 2021 Intake for a PGDM Course. Should I defer my intake? Get married and Apply for my and my wife together? or go there study for 2 semesters and then apply for her work permit.
