Asalam-o-Alaikum Folks,

I am sponsoring my Wife who is living in Karachi.

On April 23, CIC updated online status to 'Decision made' and stated that they will contact my Wife with decision.

- I am the sponsor/representative for my Wife.
- Online mailing address shown is my Canadian mailing address.
- I received my Wife's original documents.
- Previously, for things such as re-medical request, CIC emailed my Wife.

Can anybody help me understand when and how (e.g. email/mail/courier/call) we will get to know about our decision+passport request?

Also, if the passport request/decision is coming via mail/courier, who will be getting it? My Wife or myself?

your wife will get the email request to submit passport and its jus a matter of couple of more months. Goodluck

Its takes couple of month after the decision is made???? Y? Arent u just auppose to send passport nd they return it with visa?

Actually i got resonse on email they will conduct my interview and will inform me one month before..

app filed 24 dec 2013
file transfered to london 24 january 2014
remed done 29 december 2014
status change to decision made 15 jan 2015.
pass req 29 april 2015.


i just have a question. how long the visa is valud fir once she get her passport back with visa stamp? i mean in how many days she must enter canada after visa stamp. plz help thx.

Congrats. ...visa is valid till the expiry date of your medical ..which is December in your case.

I am new to this forum although I have been reading the thread for over a year.

I need some help, I recently received my GCMS notes and it says on there under Eligibility "Review Required". My case was reviewed by an officer and he put under Eligibility "Review Required".

I am worried, can somebody please tell me what this means?
