No issue with PIA. Some Air Lines (e.g Itihad) do demand Authority Letter and copy of CNIC Card if the ticket has been purchased using other than travellar's Visa/Master Card

Who pays or how was the payment made is not mentioned on E-Tickets. If your payment went through and you got e-tickets, airlines will not have any problem with who paid.

waiting for re medical request for my wife, she is in pakistan
what next... please advise ?

apply for gcsm notes ,,its long time theystart processing ur request usually then send remedical before ecase change to inprocess or right after ecase change they send medical request

no problem, just make sure they carry copies of passport bio pages, as check-in @ Pakistani airports they always ask
for copy of passport.
It's easier to purchase tickets from Canada, in Pak travel agents take so long to issue tickets for some reason...

I am living in London UK. My file has transferred from Pakistan to London on 10/3/15 and London embassy asked me for photos on 13/3/2015. Recently they have asked me for re-medical again. Anybody knows that how long they will take further to send a passport request?

Who pays or how was the payment made is not mentioned on E-Tickets. If your payment went through and you got e-tickets, airlines will not have any problem with who paid.

Emirates and Etihad ask. And they have a policy that ticket to be bought by the traveler or traveler companion.
Its good to confirm from airline. (however PIA as pointed out by a member, they donot care about that)

I am sure about Emirates as I have traveled on their flights usually and they sometimes (not always) ask about the card use for payment

I have a question for you all. My spousal application is from Afghanistan. It was transferred to New Delhi and processed there. They have asked my spouse via e-mail to submit her passport in New Delhi. They should've asked to submit it in Islamabad instead. I spoke to my MP's office and they had no clue what to do. They asked me to submit the passport to Islamabad instead and e-mail NDVO about this. I don't feel good about this advise. What do you guys think?

Send an email in rely to that request also call on the Mississauga calla center to get help. Ask that dumb MP to do the same on behalf of you. Do not follow his/her so called guidance.

Thanks brother. I already replied to the e-mail the following day on March 5 but yet no response . I just sent another inquiry to NDVO. I've been trying to get in touch with the call centre for the last two hours and I keep getting "we're currently unable to connect you to an agent due to high call volumes, please call back later." Do you know of a shortcut menu through the telephone IVR?
