applied for my wife: end of january, 2015
re-medical done: end of March, 2015
results recieved by CIC and status change to 'in-process': first week of April, 2015

Now sh52, I understand you were worried that your online status hasn't changed -- please understand the status change is not an indicator of the progress on your case. After reading numerous posts on the topic, I realized that your current online status may not necessarily be updated therefore may not reflect the actual progress of your case.

If you are too worried, I would suggest simply emailing CIC -- put the application number in the email subject. CIC usually responds within 3-4 weeks.

All members who recently got visas, what about your original documents? How did u got ur documents back?

My original documents was received by my spouse in Canada (December 2014)... Case applied in July 2013...

Hello to every one
Is there anybody who applied in April, May 2014 and got respond from Lvo like remed etc
Coz I am May 2014 applicant and I haven't receive nothing from Lvo people after applied after me and
Even They have got pp1 and my file still in que they not even bother to open my file
Now it's getting so frustrated me can't say nothing just wait and watch

when did u apply notes and when did u receive it?
yes its good if u take proofs with u as now they usually give visa at the spot

I applied on march 16th and got my notes april 15.hopefully interview will be fine i dont know what they ask on interview any one here gave interview plz help me with question they ask thanks

AOA,

-> 10 days ago, (few days after the re-medical), CIC updated the status to: In-Process and added line that medical results have been received and that 'we are processing the application as of March....2015'
-> I am in Canada and as my Wife's representative, Yesterday I received a FedEx package from CIC and they returned me all the original certificates/diplomas my Wife had submitted.

However, neither my Wife or I got any accompanying letter or email from CIC.

Is this normal? What should we expect now and with what rough timeframe?

After (a very long lol) 15 business days.. My husband has finally recieved his paasport back with visa stamped! .

This entire process took us 29 months from start to finish.. A very long, stressful & tiring time but Alhamdulillah it's all worth it in the end.. Soo happy & grateful to be done with all of this now.

Thank you to all the members who helped me when i needed it.
& for those of you still in this process.. I wish you all all the best & may you all be out of this mess soon & be reunited with your loved one's, inshAllah .

All members who recently got visas, what about your original documents? How did u got ur documents back?

There is no standard method for returning the originals. I got mine returned a year ago and I am still waiting for the rest of the process. During last year, I provided them some updates and they sent me the originals back within a month or so. Some other members on this forum received their originals before PPR. You can always send an email to LVO.
