Medical expire after one year so they ask for remedial since your application processing is still in progress.

My timeline is almost like yours. Can you just tell me when was your file transferred to London?
Also you got the remedial request cos it's expired so you have to re do it! No one can tell how long will it take BUT it seems not v long! Best of luck!!!

Husband case
Visa office: London file never sent to ISL
File sent to CPC-Mississauga: 2013-nov-13
Med done: 2013-oct-02
File received : 2013-nov-14
ECAs Status changed : 18-dec-2013 decision made of sponsorship ,but email received on 24-jan-2014
So hoping to hear good news soon

you have been waiting since nov 2001 that's 28 months, and you r not moaning about the delay .. i cant wait that long , i hope i get it soon in 14 to 15 months and all of us .

Well i did everything to make process faster , Talked to MP, send letters To CHC Islamabad and did my best but with Curropt Govt and Insane people in CHC ISL , i could not do anything . So i stopped complaining even though we are very frustrated . last resort i had was to visit my wife in Pak , and i always had this option .
But dont worry , now you guys are in very good hands (London Visa Office) and they are sensible people who knows values of relationship .
there is no Bribe or by pass situation in ISL, and thus they don't care about our cases , and lives .
Today my Case Status changed to "IN PROCESS" After 2 years . Its just 2 months after my case is transfered to London . You guys are lucky in the sence that you don't have to deal with crappy CHC ISL and have to wait now like we do .

My wife Submit my application on May 2013

Get Approval on July 2013

And Get letter that file is transfer to CHC- Islamabad

But from July 2013 to now i never received any e-mail or letter from CIC that file is still in Islamabad or in London?

I saw many people here their file transfer in Aug or sep they received letter or e-mail from London and their file in process.

I try my level best to check my online status on cic website but when i put all information with UCI number there nothing show means still they never open my file?

I tell to My Lawyer in Canada that ask cic about my file status he said now processing time for pak is 32 months.

Kindly any body tell me where is my file in Islamabad or london?

and how i cheek my online status?

I will be really thankful if anybody ans.

Your lawyer in Canada is an a****le he dont know about anything. let him do some other work except your case your file is in london brother. you will hear from them very soon. dont you worry. Now LVO processing time is applicable on you. 11 months. so be cool.

My application got transferred to London from Islamabad after two years of "BS" time waste at Islamabad.

My second medical is expiring in May-2014 (next month). I was expecting PPR from Islamabad for Last 11 months.

Can someone tell me what London will do to my application. Are they going to extend my medical and send PPR? Sad

I very much upset and frustrated due to CIC time waste game of moving files here and there Angry.

I came to know from MP that file is in London and not sure exact date it got transferred.

Please advise what London will do now...........!!!!!!! Cry

Hey guys i applied for my wife's sponsorship in january 2013 medical done in dec 2012, just wondering if it makes a huge impact if you visit your wife back home or not?
as i am a student i would like to wait but if visiting and adding more documents will help my application i can do it?

why is london asking for original documents? i thought everything was on e-storage. also islamabad and ottawa have already returned the original documents of many applicants! wtf is london doing??????

Dear all just for the clarity i m posting the process of Family sponsorship for understanding of all of thread members.

1. Sponsorship application submission (AT CPC-Mississauga)
2. first Email: application of sponsorship received by CPC-Mississauga (with in a week time or 10 days)
3. 2nd email: Sponsorship approval and File is sent to Islamabad Visa office for further processing (with in 1 month)
4. 3rd Email: your file has been transferred to LVO for further processing instead of Islamabad due to operational reasons (In some cases files are being sent directly to LVO without 2nd email)

Now your file is at LVO waiting for processing. So you dont need to send anything to Islamabad.
5. Additional documents or Interview request from LVO (between 5-10 months is my best guess) Interview will most likely held in Islamabad but interviewer will be a person from LVO not from Islamabad (Interview is only to assess whether relationship is genuine or not.

6. background checks will be done after relationship is confirmed by Visa officer.

7. Passport request one. PPR1 sending copies of the passport to LVO (30 days) (immediately send to LVO on given address)
after receiving your copies of passport and pictures. LVO will issue Visa and COPR issued as per your passport and send it to Islamabad

8. PPR2. Original passport and return address needs to be sent to Islamabad. (usually 30-45 days after PPR1) Send PPs through TCS visatronics
9. Visa is being pasted on Passport. VISA along with COPR is sent to your return address.
10. You are ready to land.........
