Spousal application with child.

Hello, after many delays i have started to work on my wife's application. We have recently had our first child and have applied and received his Canadian Citizenship Certificate. My question is: Do i need to sponsor him also or is he just a dependent? Do i have to pay an extra fee for him? I'm a bit confused on this. Thanks in advance.

No, you don't need to sponsor him, he is not included as a dependent in the app and you don't pay anything for him.

Your spouse lists him on the IMM 5406
