hi i would like ask two question regarding my visit to canada :- 1) my father in law wants to sponsor our short holiday visit to canada as an anniversary gift but we live in different countries. 2) my wife already has a canadian multiple entry visit visa valid for further 2 more years. how can we our 1.5yrs son n myself get the visa in said circumstances ?

1. You apply for a TRV for you and your son, with a letter of invitation from your f/l, mention your spouse already has a TRV.

To be precise your f/l provides you a sponsorship letter (and not invitation) and finances saying that he is going to sponsor your trip to Canada.
Rest of the documents needed remain same.

It is very unlikely that you will be approved unless you can show that you can pay for your travels on your own. Especially if you want to travel with your whole family.
