Sponsorship through Bogota 2015-2016

I created this thread for anyone that has applied through the Bogota VO in late 2015-2016.

That was quite fast Seems not too many people are going through Bogota this year. I have been waiting 7 months now and almost 2 months since new photos were requested but still nothing.....

Yeah, that's what other people have said, things are going fast on AOR's and SA's. I've checked other spreadsheets, I've only seen like 3 people from Bogota VO. I wanted to ask you how many days did you wait for your AOR2, other members who had my same timeline of February have received their AOR2's, yet I'm still waiting. It's so frustrating, I check my ECAS and email like 5 times a day. Also, do you think your process has gone slowly? Thanks for answering by the way.

Hi JJ628, I am applying through Bogota but currently living in Ecuador. So I am not sure what you mean?

Just to give you an update. We applied september 16th. On february 11th we received an email from the Vo requesting 4 new passport size photos to continue processing our application, and ever since we have heard nothing else I thought I was really close then but its been almost 2 months since that request for pics....

So far its been 7 months so I am hoping maybe sometime this month I get some good news.

I finished my degree in Canada while on a student visa when I was younger then came back to live in Ecuador. So try asking someone else maybe in another thread or maybe the other Bogota applicants. They might be able to help you better than me :-*

I am actually in Ecuador. Colombia handles tha apps for Ecuador as well but I am not sure if the wait is the same for Colombian citizens too?

did you send your husband's medical exams on your application or did they request them during the process?

Mine expire, that's why I'm asking, we were supposed to file the application last year.
