London UK received our application on 9 sep 2014 from mississiauga - which was pretty quick about 3 weeks. We are both UK born and bred although my husband is a Canadian citizen - we married in july 2014 and have grown up together since i was a baby. I am just asking - do you think it would be ok for me to meet my husband in florida before the end of Feb for a little honeymoon - as after we got married we go straight on with the application forms so we could send them off quickly as i had to return to the UK. I dont really want to go out of the country in case they call me for an interview and i am not here!!!! any thoughts please

Although there is no 100% guarantee you won't be called for an interview the chances are extrememly unlikely. Very very few are called for interview through London. The majority of those called to interview are due to queries about the validity of the relationship or a criminal record etc. If you have put together a good application then you won't have any issues. They also generally give you reasonable notice about an interview so I think your safe to visit Florida.

Yes you should be fine. Chance of interview is incredibly small, and you can always scan your emails daily to see if the visa office is requesting you to do anything.
