Hi,

I thank you in advance for your help.

I am sponsoring my husband and we have a child together that lives with me in Canada, for the past year I didn't work since I was on maternity until August of 08 and I worked part-time after that until 3 months ago. Now I work full time and make good income.

My question is,
will I be able to qualify when it comes to financial assistance and if not could either of my parents be co-signers with me?

Thank you :)

....one more question :)

I know that the first thing that I do is fill out my sponsorship papers and send them in, then what?

When do I send papers for my husband to fill out and where can I find them?

and just one more

I got married to my husband in our country and I decided just to add my husbands last name but I never legally did that in Canada, would this be a problem?

On our marriage certificate it shows that I took my husbands last name but my citizenship application was in process at the time and I didn't want to stall my process so I never changed it. On my Canadian passport it only has my maiden last name, our son has both of our last names in his Canadian passport.

Thank you again

E

you can find them on CIC website http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/spouse.asp
just find a section applied to your situation
