Hello,

I am a canadian man that will be applying for sponsorship of his soon to be wife probably by december of this year.

Me and my fiance are planners, and we would love to know what the timeline is for this sort of thing? Essentially, how long it would take before my wife would be able to live with me in Canada, even if it's just while the application is being processed.

Some background:
I am a 26 year old male from Canada, she is a 26 year old Filipina. We've already applied for our marriage license when I was visiting in August, and she tells me she has just recieved it. So we are planning for me to head back in November for my winter vacation to actually get married. We've known eachother for almost a year now, and we literally have been talking every single day through text throughout that time. First met eachother in person in August.
She has never been to Canada before, though she has been to Alaska in the past on a student visa of some sort, if that affects anything.

Once we are legally married, then we can apply for the sponsorship process, and then apply for her to get a visitors visa so she can live with me during the application process.

Our question is: How long would it take from the point of getting married in the Philippines, to bringing her over to Canada with a Visa? Obviously the sooner the better for us.
What is the process? Is there any way to make sure it goes smoothly?
