Can you provide any link from this forum or any place where it state what is the step by step process to do so.
I want to start my preparation right away for this process. even though i will be able to apply after 6 months

You really need to go through the application package. There are guides and checklists that show you what is needed.

Yes, look at the outland forms and the guides that go with them. You will be able to see the kinds of proof you will have to show, and the steps you have to take.
