Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
hello everybody ...

i am desperate and dont know what to do, maybe i can get from you any advices....heres a shortcut of my situation:

I am from Austria and i met my Canadien boyfriend 2 years ago, i was here last year for a half year and now i am here since april and i hope i can extend my stay in canada for another 6 month. We love each other and we want to spend the rest of our lifes togeather. The big problem is, that he can not sponsor me, cause of a criminal record and a pardon is the next years not possible. Now, since i am here in Canada i was offerd a job, but as it seams, its not possible to get a posivite LMO. So what to do now ? Is there any other kind of visa i could apply for ? The family of my boyfriend would like to sponsor me too, but is there such kind of visa ? and would it be easier, if we would get married ? cause i am kind of confused now, we wanted to get married last year, but i was reading, that its after a marriage even more difficult. Has anybody a advice for me ? Thank you

No - the family of your boyfriend cannot sponsor you. Only your boyfriend can sponsor you (once you are married or common law and once the criminal issue has been taken care of).

Can you find a different employer who can obtain an LMO?

What about going back to school full time through a study permit? This is a very expensive option.

hello and thank you again scylla

sorry for my late respond, i was ill.... i try so hard to find a employer who would give me a LMO, but it seems so hard, to find somebody who would give me a positive one. Have you any advices or tipps how to get one ? Or are there any tricks how an employer can get one ?

And going back to school...hmm....i think i am to old for it ? ... I am 37, i have a highschool-diploma in sales-assistenz and economy.

I am thinking about it, to apply for a livein caregiver, cause i made a half-year-education for that job and it seems, to get a positive LMO for thouse jobs, are easier to get ?

There must be a way that i can stay with my fiance, no matter what. The problem is, we dont have the option that he comes to me to Austria, cause he cant speak german, hes got a good job here in Canada and cause of some other reasons we have only the one opportunity, that i stay here with him in Canada.

I know this is like a last ditch scenario, but have you considered immigrating to the UK or Ireland instead if all else fails?

In any case, I wish you both good luck. Love always finds a way. :)

awww...clearly...thanks for your answer, i just had to cry when i read Love always finds a way ... thats what i tell myself the last month over and over and i hold on to it :) Even when many people around me tell me we should give it up, its hopeless and so on....they can easily say such things, when they are not in my situation ...

Immigrate to UK ? You mean both of us ? Thank you kindly :)
