hey again , i need an answer beacuse after all of this i still don't know one thing that keeps bugging me .
I keep reading multiple times to submit originals but also read so many times " do not mail original documents beacuse they don't get returned "
So im asking should i only attach photochopies of the marriage certificate and other documents like police certificate?
Or should i mail the actual piece of paper I got in the mail from the Government and Tribunal in italy ( in my case for police certificates)

Photocopies are fine unless the country specific instructions say otherwise.
If you read the checklist carefully it says "Send photocopies unless instructed otherwise" and "(Photocopies only)" etc in several places.

I sent photocopies of everything (passports, marriage cert, police check, birth cert etc) and my application was accepted as complete.

Unless your country requirements say otherwise, send photocopies and if they need an original for some odd reason they will contact you.
