Sponsorship application Please help

I submitted my application on January and until now there is no AOR
I've called them and they said no update so far, how can i find out if they received my application or not?

Please advise

based on your other post you are a refugee claimant (legacy claim). no one here can tell you when your hearing will be. Call IRB as your file is handled by them and not by CIC.

ask a lawyer if you have one, but my understanding is that you cannot have an open refugee claim with family sponsorship. You would first have to withdraw your refugee claim or your refugee claim would have to be refused before family sponsorship can move ahead. I am not an expert, best to ask a lawyer, get 2 or 3 free consults with different ones to make sure you are getting the right information.

I applied for Family class sponsorship, what is GCMS notes

Ahh, that clarifies it then. I think your wife should order GCMS notes for herself and yours too. Since you are both in Canada, either yourself or her can order the notes for both of you under the Privacy Act for free. She will need to attach proof she's a Canadian citizen or PR and you will need to attach a copy of your status document. It takes 30 days to get them.

GCMS notes are notes written by the visa officer about your file. It will tell you what is delaying things or what stage you are in the process.

No, only one of you needs to apply for GCMS notes. If you are the one applying, ask them to send the notes about you and about her too. You need to also get notes about her, especially since they have not even sent AOR or sponsorship approval.
