Sponsor's Passport copy- Checklist family sponsorship

Hello Everyone ,

I am in the final stages of submitting an application to CIC under the family sponsorship category. I have a simple question for you , I just looked at the checklist, they didnt mention anything about submitting a copy of my passport, they just asked for a copy PR card.

Is it good to keep a copy of passport as well ?

If it is not a requirement, then you dont have to.
