Sponsoring wife from Iraq

1) My wife is a medical doctor, and I am sponsoring her to Canada. Is there a priority case for Iraqis? Does Iraq have its own processing center in Amman?

2) She has an appointment to do her medicals at IOM Baghdad, but I don't think they are up to date with the new cic medical requirements. They asked her for a section A. Then they said she should come in and do it anyway. I'm confused. I'm not sure they know about the "upfront medical exam" which is required for me to send to cpc-m.

Any information would be helpful please.

Just have your wife clarify with the panel physician that this is a family class sponsorship and she needs and up front medical. I am sure the majority of the medicals most of these places do are in the economic immigration section of immigration and those follow different protocol and require documents from CIC to proceed.
