I'm confused here. I read they wanted 4 photos , took them to medical exam, he put one on completed form. I asked wife and think we have 3 left, or maybe 2 ( not sure if kept or sent one away). So how many pics do they want sent along with docs? Do we need to send 4 and can we just get 4 new ones, similar to medical one, since we don't have 4 now the same as on medical exam copy?
The photographer has no negative or saved copy of the 4 he took, so what do we do?
Thanks

The same happened to us. The medical exam took 2 and we still needed 4 to go with the application. We got ours done at a Walmart photo place. The girl was excellent and knew exactly what we needed in terms of the difference between these pictures and passport pictures. When we went back to get the extra pictures she even remembered us and gave us a discount because we needed more.

Get more done. We had to take five to medical, they used all of them. Then had to send them four more and finally they get two more with the PPR (Passport request). The government of Canada now has 11 photos of my husband :-X

But yes, just get more done.

the immigration pictures and the medical pictures don't need to be the same.
you need one set for the medical ( and each DMP asks for a different number) and one set for immigration (number depending on your guideline, mine was 8...). It doesn't matter that they are not the same, as long as the immigration ones (specified in your guideline etc) are all from the same batch.
Hope it clarifies...

I had 4 with my Medicals sent none with my application and sent 2 with my PPR had the ones for my medical done at walmart cost me 6 bucks for 4 and the others done at shopper's they cost me 14 bucks... it's abit confusing on what they need when we read the guide it said 4 photos were needed so when I called and set up the medical she said 4 photos were needed so I just figured they were the same ones mentioned in the guide... they never asked me for any more...

Thanks folks! That was my only move and choice I figured, but saves the worry in-between. We will get 4 more taken and submit,
