Hello,

I need some information regarding sponsoring spouse.

I have applied for FSW 2014 under 2132 NOC list. I have cleared my medicals and waiting for further instructions. Now that I got married and wanted to know the best way to go ahead with.

You need to inform the visa office that your attached to. They will give you the documents list and the process to add spouse. This may delay you process depending on the visa office.

So rise a CSE immediately if you don't have your passport stamped.

What are the chances to add spouse , if one get married after getting PR stamped ?

Your PR visa will be cancelled, application will reopen, and visas will be issued together when the spouse's processing is complete. This is IF you get married after stamping and before landing.

If you get married after landing, you will need to sponsor your spouse through the family class.

Thanks a lot the reply.

I've some queries still, please advise

1. If I get the PR before marriage and after marriage can I allow to go with my spouse with PR stamp and spouse with Tourist Visa ?

2. If I get the PR before marriage and landed there and then Can I sponsor my spouse immediately ? or Is there any creteria to sponsor spouse for a PR holder ?

One of my friend is with the same issue and got reply in return to his CSE and forwarded the same mail to me.

Can you please provide me with sample letter on "explaining how your family composition has changed and requesting that your spouse to be added to your application".
