Hi guys

Can you share your experience in sending original documents to New Delhi visa office?

I need to send some original documents like birth certificate and fathers death certificate ?
So any experience would help ?

I recently get an email for PCC and landing fees, in that email they are clearly said that you are not supposed to submit any original documents unless you are asked to, they want me to reply the email to submit PCC. Hope this will help you

My parents' Police cert and IMM forms arrived in Singapore office last Thursday (Aug 11) but the "Review of submitted documents" status in MyCIC still shows "We need an additional document from the applicant".

Should I email the office to confirm that they did receive the documents?

What forms did they require you to update? Just Schedule A or anything else?

I sent via Fedex it to SVO street address.

Hi Guys,

I am new to this thread and am seeking some advise. I have filed the sponsorship for my parents in 2015 Jan. The application was received on 02nd Jan 2015 around 10:45 AM by CPC Mississauga office. The only communication I have received from CPC-M was on 21-MAR-2015 last year acknowledging the receipt of the file only. Looking at so many of you advancing to even Medicals and RPRF stage, I am very much worried about my case. I even called CIC a month back and managed to persuade the CIC agent to take a peak at my file. But the agent said that I havent missed any communication thus far. Is anybody else in the same boat? Looking forward to see a response from you all......

I used UPS. Express Service costed me $40 from Canada. UPS is pretty decent for Singapore and their price is good too if you use 3rd party services such as secureship or shiptime (about 50% cheaper than their websites)

So finally I got PCC and Medical request for my parents (which I almost missed) and as they both are here with me in Canada I have requested PCC from embassy (through BLS International) on the weekend (it's great that they work on Saturdays too) but then I realized that they want the original passports to be submitted with the application; which means they will stay with them for atleast 20-25 days. And I had already booked an appointment for Medical later in the week.
But for the people who are or going to be in the same boat, here is what they suggest -
1. Get your medical done before applying for PCC (Daah.. ) ??? OR
2. Once you see your PCC application 'in process' using their tracking number, you can request for partial withdraw of passport and 0nce you are done with the medical, you can resubmit the passports at Embassy. - which is what I am going to try and hope it does not impact the PCC processing time.

Yes I used secureship.ca $40 for UPS standard express service that takes 2 business days from Canada to Singapore. And yes to One George Street address.

My company have corporate account with Fedex, so I got some discount.
I paid $47 and the document arrived within 2 business days - sent on Thursday, arrived Monday.
