"By now"? My speculation is it's pretty much filled up by now. We try to figure out when that date was... if not Jan 2.

I mean not the number of applications received by CIC . That must be 50k. But the No of applications charged so far. My guess is around 1000-1500 mid 2nd jan cases

I am afraid the cut off time is by noon Jan. 2nd :-\

That's what Canada Post told me as well. But your tracking certainly looked more complete. Congrats again and at least we get some hope.

Fedx people were royal this time. Yeah this looks way ahead then rest of charging. That too on 13th Jan, yesterday. I will believe this time when more people at same time starts getting CC charged. As of today charging, most have deliver time of 11-12 noon being charged today

I don't think so. If the spread sheet is representative, about 55% of the applications reached on Jan 2.

"Out for delivery" since Jan 5, 11:24AM.

So my 1:20pm is returned??? I just called and get confirmed the guy arrived at CPC 12pm and wait for 1hr20min to get signature.

I notice a trend the past couple days that new members in this forum with 1-2 posts are spreading a lot of no evidence speculations. Is there anything behind this?

If 3000 apps get approved in the morning, and how many packages can be scanned in one and half hour? 1000?

That's not nice of people who are doing this. I guess they don't understand that getting reunited with their parents is so important for lot of people and people taking this forum seriously and helping each other out.

Geee. That was quite a pessimistic post. Besides, it hasn't been announced that the cap has been reached yet.

Only time will tell when the cap will be reached and knowing when at what day/time did application arrived to CIC get returned. This will give us an idea of when the cap would be reached.

There is no doubt that the cap will be reached much sooner than last year (3rd week of Jan) since this year those who applications got returned due incomplete application will not make the same mistake again along with those who missed the cap and new eligible sponsors this year.

There is no evidence to what you are saying. I was told by one of the CIC representatives that when they will reach the cap they will announce online on the spot!
