I have met a man online from the Philippines, we are in a relationship and we do plan on getting married. I have been doing my due diligence in regards to our relationship and am 100% sure about this as he is as well, also I will be visiting him in May of this year. Same sexy marriage is not accepted in the Philippines which is why I’d like to sponsor him to come to Canada so we can be married. I have read the conjugal sponsorship information on the government website but have become a bit confused by it lol. I’m wondering if I can get some help with information on this process and/or if you have information on accredited companies that are trusted that can help me with this process. Any help and advice from anyone is much appreciated. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Not as of yet...just trying to get all the information I need for having him come to Canada.
Thank you for your reply.

Apply for a TRV is your first step. If he gets refused then you can try the conjugal sponsorship route. Have you visited him in the Philippines yet? Have you been together for at least 1 year?

Ok that’s what I will have him do then, thank you I fly to the Philippines in May, trip is all booked...we haven’t been together for a year yet but it’s getting close to a year. I appreciate your time and your advice, thank you

Have you actually met yet?

We video chat everyday for hours, I have met his family as well through video chat...I have not met him in person as in being able to touch him, which is why I’m going to the Philippines in May, but yes I have met him and know him very well

Which means that you haven't met him. That is a HUGE red flag. I strongly suggest you visit several times before even trying for conjugal.

Thanks, I do appreciate your advice and I will read the link you provided. When I posted the original question, I should have stated that I’m not trying to rush this through and I know it’s going to take time. I’m making long term plans here and am just trying to plan for the future.
I really do appreciate your help and advice
