I want to sponsor my wife. I have PR. I have collected the letter from my place of work. My job is full time since sep,2011 but by an employment agency in a company. The employer has mentioned on the letter that the applicant has been on his current temporary assignment with us since Sep, 2011. And in the next line the hourly rate, number of hours per week etc.have been written. I have all the payslips since sep, 2011.

Can anyone advice whether the word current temporary assignment suggest the sposnsor is ineligible to sponsor?

thanks.

Hi there, I don't think that it will hurt your application as CIC just need to see that you are able to provide for your spouse when she gets here.

If you work for an agency it might be a good idea to include as much as you can about previous assignments, or even see if your employer will redo the letter stating that they forsee this assignment to last X amount of months with a high possibility of you being retained for further work.
