Sponsor my parent (mom)

Hi I would like to get some info on my situation my mom who currently has a 10 year visitor visa come to canada this summer for the second time this time I would like for her to stay so my question is do I apply for a super visa or sponsor her and if I decide to sponsor her would she end going back home after her 6 months visit or she can stay until they make a decision if so would I need to apply for and extension on her 6 months can any one help me please
