Hi I am sponsoring my wife and recently someone told me I need a minimum income of 25k I only make $700 monthly because I am a university student please someone clear things up for me I already sent my application now I am scared

There is no minimum income but you need to explain how you plan to support yourselves in Canada.

There is no low-income cut off assessed on Spousal applications. IRPA Part 7, Division 3 - Sponsors, Section 133 ( http://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/sor-2002-227/page-28.html#docCont ) outlines the law around the sponsorship requirements.
