Sponsor for study permit

Hi guys,

I'm applying for a Study Permit and my uncle will be sponsoring me. He doesn't have a savings account He has a company and he has his account in the name of the company. Can I use the bank statement of the company account or its not allowed.

Help me out guys

It's best if either of your parent(father or mother) sponsor you than relations

The account is okay as long as it is linked to him(his details) when verified by CIC but will advise you to use your parents as sponsor.. the funds should be transferred to their(either one of them) account if possible

Thanks for the info. I wish my parents could do that but unfortunately they can't because they don't have that money. Does it decrease my chances of getting the visa

yes it decrease your chances but don't lose hope as anything could happen

if not from your parents as sponsors, CIC might feel you won't be able to meet up financially at the long run. I was in such situation before
