My husband is a Canadian citizen.We are applying under family class.I want to know about the question no 5 or 6 in this form.My husband has already sponsored his parents but the final decision has not been made in their application.So what we need to tick in the question asking have u sponsored in past the person for which final decision has not been made...yes or no...please answer soon

If thats the case you tick yes to ‘6. Have you submitted a previous application in respect of which a final decision has not been made for the person being sponsored and their family members.’ Read the info before that. Its states ‘If you answer yes to any question from 6 to 15 you may not be eligible to sponsor. Please refer to the guide for instructions before completing these questions.’ So do your research carefully and see if they are eligible. Same with question 5. Was your husband sponsored as a spouse or common law within the last 5 years? If yes then he cant sponsor another spouse or common law for 5 years. If he got his PR through an economic stream or is a citizen then the answer to 5 will be NO. If he got his PR by being sponsored as a spouse in the last 5 years and then divorced and wants to sponsor another spouse, he cant either and the answer to question 5 will be YES
