My husband have a daughter how is 17 years old, she live in Colombia, but the thing is that she doesn't have my husband last name only her mom. He want to sponsor her to come to Canada ... So I got a few questions.
How is the process for sponsorship a depend in this situation. Do they need to do the ADN test to prove their relation, since she doesn't have his last name ?
Does he need an income prove in order to sponsor his daughter ?
And last question is she is planning to visit us next years to meet my husband, myself and my kids for the first time .
Can we start the process from Canada this way she doesn't need to come back to Colombia ?

Thank you so much for your help, looking forward go hear your answers to my questions

The answer to your question depends on a couple things. Is your husband a PR or Citizen? Was she born before or after he arrived in Canada?

Was she born before he became a PR, and if so, was she examined by immigration before he landed?

If she was not included on his application, and did not receive a medical examination, he can never sponsor her as a member of the family class, regardless of if he didn't know about her. There is nothing that can be done at this point.

You can look at other ways of her coming to Canada, perhaps as a student?
