SOWP to Study Permit using the border flag poling

Hi All

I have got LOA from college today. College starts on Jan 9th. Can I go to the border for flagpole. I am currently on SOWP. Reached Canada on August. No job so I want to study 2 years. Due to time constraint can I do flagpole from SOWP to Study permit. What are the questions asked and relevant documents required. Please help me thank you
