SOWP - November applicants from India

Hi guys,
I applied SOWP paper application on Nov 26th 2014 and still waiting. No status change yet. Submitted medicals upfront. Its in the VFS Bangalore office. When can I see the status change? and how many days?...
VFS guys told me 14 working days, but no response yet...

Please update if anyone got SOWP......Thanks....

Usual time for processing the SOWP is 2 months but we all are waiting for almost 2 or 2.5 months. since, there was holidays for new year and christmas, it is a bit delayed. Nov appicants process has already started. So, just keep your fingers crossed.

I can just say that Patience pays for it all.. we just got to wait patiently..

Applied online on Nov 4th. Got update as application status - cancelled and application decision - blank. Still waiting for the reason of cancellation.

Note - Visa is not approved nor denied!

My visa status now says Passport has been couriered from the Canada Visa Application Centre, on 19/01/2015 .
I have not received any email or anything.

Today, I received my Passport from VFS office Ahmedabad. I got rejected.

They are not satisfied with the following reasons:
1) Travel History (Not traveled out side India)
2) Purpose of Visit (My wife is on Study Permit in Canada)
3) Employment (I have submitted all the Company Certificates and Salary slip. Almost 3 years of Experience in IT field.)
4) Personnel assets and Funds (Shown around 15 lacs)

Guys, suggest me for the further process. what i need to do now?

Note: I was not asked for any Medical Exam. They straight away dispatched my passport.

I am not really sure what can be done in your case. Probably, just leave a msg in this thread, senior members might help you out.

Hi Guys,

Got a call from CIC, Lagos today. They asked briefly about my daughter who will be 6 this October. I didnt apply for a study permit for her because she is not yet 6 and as such, still in the kindergarten category. so she doesn't need study permit yet.
Also, i was told that my medical request would be mailed immediately after the discussion but i quickly informed that we had done an upfront medical. I was asked to forward evidence of that which i have now done.

Applied for OWP for me and TRV for 2 kids on 24th November, 2014.
Medical Upfront done.
Biometrics done 25th November at Lagos, Nigeria VAC.

Application Refused,

Had a PNP letter eventhough they are asking that demonstrate you are in exception.

Application rejected,

Stating that i have not satisfied them enough that i will return back to India.
