Hope someone can answer me in my query. I am planning to get my husband via SOWP here in Quebec. But I have different case. I applied my visa as Single, before I left Philippines, we've Married. We were not a common-law-partner.
Visa Received: Oct. 9, 2020
Date of Marriage: Nov. 27, 2020
Enter to Canada on Dec. 8, 2020
I really dont know how to start. They say I have to change my marital status first before to apply him a SOWP. But my agency in PH says my acct has already closed since Im already here in Canada. I am planning to make it via DIY but since my case is complicated I am planning to make it with the help of an agency in the PH. I have already seen the documents checklist in gckey account but still in doubt to proceed because of Marital Status not updated yet. Can I still apply SOWP for my husband using his GC Key acct or I really need to update my Marital Status first? Thank you for the future answers.
