Which is better way to apply for spouse dependent open work permit from India, weather Online or paper based at VFS?

I wanna share my experience,i applied online SOWP for my wife she is in india,i applied it on 27may from canada and still no reply,no medical request.i am so tense now.
And i applied her SOWP by my self,no representative used.
Did any one else got reply who applied near 27 may?

Help needed.

today i linked my paper application submitted at vfs new delhi to mycic account and got the application number. I did not know we could do that.

I submitted the application on 18th march with upfront medicals. it says we need you your medical information and we sent you this requirement on 20th april. i did not get any mail from cic. is there any way to upload my document online. my online status says we need info from you but there is no place to upload document. Do you some one know how to contact cic through phone so that i can request them to open the upload document link so that i can upload the copy.

Please help.

Did you sort this out or the medical was approved? I am under the same situation, though we did medicals upfront it says they need medical from us.

Patience of lotzz f applicants is getting tested. I had applied on 4th Jan 2016 with upfront medical.
The only last update I got was regarding my medical xam i.e PASSED that too on 10th March 2016.

Nothing has happend aftr dat.

What is your application mode.? If paper then where did you submit

i think who made a paper application is still luckier than online. though previously wen i asked vfs delhi they told me that it takes same time for both and none is faster than the other. I read on cic india page they updated on july 15 they have too many applications and it will take longer than the normal processing times.

Chandigarh applicants r not so lucky as bangalore n delhi. All the best. U need much patience.

My Wife got her SOWP Approved yesterday. Our timelines are -

Applied Paper based with Medical upfront in New Delhi on 10.06.2016
Approved on 19.07.2016.

Does applying open work permit inside canada or outside canada make any difference?
I mean faster approval for permits applied inside canada and vice versa.

Applying outside canada and paper application is faster than online
