I have a good friend of mine that has applied for CEC around the same time as me. His fiance is of South African decent and is listed on his application as a dependent. She was made fill out a number of additional forms corresponding to her time spent in South Africa for example, was she ever a child soldier etc. Has anyone heard of or had first person experience with a delayed processing time due to yourself or a dependent being from South Africa?
