SOP Needed for Spouse Open Work Permit If Going Together?

Hello Guys,

My wife (student) and I ( Spouse Open work Permit) planning to go to Canada. I know Students needs to show Statement of Purpose (SOP).
But do spouse also needs to show SOP if we are going to file the application together?

No harm in writing a brief SOP outlining your background and explaining why you want to accompany your spouse. At worst, they won't read it.

Include it in the documents that you upload in the Purpose of travel section
