Sop for visa

Hi,
I came to know its good to add a SOP in your canadian visa application too, my questions are

Q) Should it be different from the SOP i gave to university? If yes in what way?

Q) If yes in what way? What should be its average length (in words)?

Hmmm... i did not elaborated topics of WHY CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY and WHAT WILL I DO AFTER COMING BACK (around 2 lines each of MS word) thats why i was asking.... is it ok? my whole SOP is also around 530 words, isn't it too short??
