Hi
I am going to Quebec for masters soon, i have listned that they gave PR soon after ur masters, but does anyone know how long it takes to get a immigration after PR? Also can i call my parents as a PR or i should be an immigrant to call them? Actually i am there only son and want to call them ASAP.

Hello Dani,
P.R in canada actually takes 1 to 3 after your masters !! It actually depends upon each individuals and their qualifications..!
***Getting P.R for your Parents is nearly impossible since they don't qualify for age , English ability , educational qualifications etc!
They are instead given grant parent super visa ! Which is 2 years uninterrupted!

PEQ Graduate Program: Eligible to apply during the last 6 months of studies. Get nomination (CAQ) with in 20 days or less, no experience/job offer required. Condition: Advanced Intermediate French level.

So when i would be eligible to apply for this "Grant parent super visa" for my parents?? Can i apply for it straight after getting PR, or even before it??

Yes i was talking about the same thing n i know about the mandatory french condition. So any idea that after getting this CAQ can i apply for my parents visa?
 
Once you are married and have a kid in Quebec you are double for it!
I know it sounds rubbish! But that's the condition!

So before calling parents i have to do marriage, call my wife here; have a child n then apply for thier visa :o:o

Or you can call them in visiting visa! Which is 6 months.valid!

After PR, you can apply for a Parent Super Visa (multiple entries up to 10 years) & before that, you can apply for TRV (6 months onward).
