I have received an email from Quebec immigration requesting further or correctly certified documents. With the original application I sent almost everything certified by a UK solicitor. There are couple of things I don't fully understand.

a)
"resident status in a country other than the country of citizenship

Copy of permit or residence permit valid for at least 12 months, issued by the authorities of the current country of temporary residence - Head and Joint Applicant"

Me, my wife and our 2 children are British citizens residing in UK permanently, so unsure what they want for this?

Previousley I sent photocopies certified by UK solicitor off our British passports and British Citizenship certificates. Could it be that they don't accept certification by solicitors as their website does say certification needs to be done by issuers or the country's Consulate. If this is the case then who should I get the certification done by? Home Office, passport Office etc in UK don't provide certification services.

b)
"proof of the legality of your professional experience

Original or certified copy of proof of social security contributions or proof of exemption from payment of social security premiums -- To: Principal Applicant (2012)

Note: If you can not provide proof of social security contributions or proof of exemption from payment of social security premiums, you must provide proof of payment of income tax."

Previousley I sent my P60 and wage slips certified by UK solicitor. Both documents show my earnings, National Insurance contributions and also the income tax paid. What else do they need for this? Could it be that they were certified by UK solicitor and i should have them certified by my employer?

I really hope someone can advise as I'm really struggling with these requests.

Thanks for reading!
