I am currently working as a software test analyst in Pune, India and would like to move to Canada with a job in the foreseeable future.
I have 8 years of industry experience and hold a Masters degree in Computer Applications. My sister lives in Canada and she is a citizen. I know rudimentary French and have IELTS score of band 8.
I would be grateful if anybody can let me know of my prospects of getting a job considering the fact that the software industry is still relatively at it's nascent stage in Canada. I have visited Canada a number of times as a tourist and loved the place and people irrespective of the -40 degree weather.
