Software Engineering VS Electrical and Computer Engineering in Concordia University.

I got admission offer in Concordia University for Masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I have gone through course curriculum of ECE.

Now, I have checked course curriculum of Masters in Software Engineering in Concordia University. I found it more interesting than Masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

So please give some suggestions about these two courses and future aspects.

Also, if you know, please let me know the procedure of changing the department in concordia university after paying confirmation deposit.
