Hi Everyone

0 ) NOC: 4152
1 ) I have applied March 11, 2011.
2 ) Got NER June 26, 2011
3) Then asked CIO for a review as they assigned me wrong points (20 instead of 22)
4 ) Got PER from CIO July 13, 2015. (Saying your file will be trasferre to the VO)

Can somebody suggest how long they they take usually to send the file to VO? And what will be the next SETP?

Thanks

Hi Kan,
Great challenge, can you please share what is the procedure to challenge if some one get NER.
Do you mean that when they calculate base on 20 your total become bellow 67? or any other reason they showed
for issuing NER.

What is pre assessment ? is credential assessment and pre assessment are same ? If different from each other what is the importance of doing that, can any seniors explain both please.

Nope they are two separate things. Pre-assessment is purposely for checking if one qaulifies for FSW application (the min 67 points) and credential assessment is to check if your degree outside Canada is equivalent to a Canadian one.
In sum:
Pre-assessment: immigration
credential assessment: job prospects.
Hope the difference is clear...Mandie

I would not say I challenged them. Actually they made mistake while assigning the points. According to me I deserved 22 points in education (as I have 2 bachelors degrees and one degree require first-degree as a pre-requisite to get 2nd one) and CIO only assigned 20 points instead 22 points ->so Total points= 66 points and they sent NER becasue of insufficient points. So i requested them to review the file and explained the scenario.
