hi,

Is there an OFFICIAL document which says that "transcript must be original and in university sealed evelope" if yes please fwd me the link.
Also is this also applicable for IELTS score ?

thanks
Rabia

Dear Rabia,

I refer Singapore VO’s ‘Visa Office Specific Instructions’ link. (Find your VO specific doc). As per my findings all VO follows same rules:
Link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/E37057.pdf

Regarding Sealed Envelop:
“Transcripts: original transcripts of all degrees must be submitted in university-sealed envelopes.” Page reference A1.

Hi,
If there is any Diploma do I need to send sealed transcript from the institution.

Regards
Deshi

Answer is NO, for diploma u don't need sealed envelop transcript from ur institution unless u applied by diploma. If u demonstration ur NOC by diploma then u have to submit sealed envelop. But I hope u have done hon's and masters. So chillllllllllllll............ ;)

Hi I also applied in same category on 4oct.10 and I got one email 2feb11.from cic ,after that I sent all the doc.to Delhi after month with fees after that I received receipt of payment that's is.now waiting ........

Hi Everyone

0 ) NOC: 4152
1 ) I have applied March 11, 2011.
2 ) Got NER June 26, 2011
3) Then asked CIO for a review as they assigned me wrong points (20 instead of 22)
4 ) Got PER from CIO July 13, 2015. (Saying your file will be trasferre to the VO)

Can somebody suggest how long they they take usually to send the file to VO? And what will be the next SETP?

Thanks

Congrats for challenging CIO and getting PER! It takes abt 2-4 weeks for the change to RBVO. Look at the tracker below for more info...Mandie

One more doubt (I seem to have all of them !!!)

My experience is last 10 years totals to approx 1.8 years and the last work I did was around 7 years back.

I am taking care of my house since then, I got married 6 year ago.

Will this be a factor in my application, i understand I can get points for 1-2 years experience in last 10 years.

but the fact that I am out of job market for so long, makes me nervous.

Thanks
Rabia

Rabia, what matters most is being able to proove that you have performed the duties mentioned under Ministerial Instruction. To proove this, you will need experience letter from your former employer detailing the duties you performed when u were with them. The fact that you have been out of the job market for solme time should not be a problem at all...Hope this helps...Mandie

@ mandiebraxton, just wondering about the Ministerial Instruction. what is this all about? i keep on googling and only to find out about the 2008 info...

thanks

This is used to determine whether one's application is legible for processing based on the their experience in a particular occupation, in this case social work. So when you provide experience certificate for this profession, it should reflect the duties listed in the link below.
http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/noc/english/noc/2006/ProfileDescription.aspx?val=4&val1=4152&val27=social+worker&val28=0&val29=0&val30=2&val31=2&val32=2&val33=2&val34=2&val35=2&val36=2&val37=2&val38=1&val39=0&val40=Section

Thus, when your application receives Positive Eligibility Review, you receieve something like "....Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive final determination of eligibility for processing on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on June 26, 2010"

Hope this helps...Mandie
