I am a petroleum engineer and my jobs code noc 2145 is not in the demand list of saskatchewan but my skills and jobs description of course can pretty fit with geological technologists and technicians noc 2212 which is found in the demand list.
Can i apply with my current situation

job title does not matter, job duties does. Job duties should also match with education.

So when SNIP open i will apply as petroleum which is not in demand list or write experience letter as geological technologist which it's duties match with petroleum engineering

Choose a noc related to your job duties and education and apply in that. It has to be in demand list. Forger Abt designation and don' mention it. Reference letter job duties should match with NOC at least 70%.
