Hi guys, does anyone think it would be okay (meaning is it acceptable to immigration) to convert text messages between my spouse and I into .csv format and turn it into a table for easier print, or should I print screen from my phone for all of my texts? (a LOT of text messages)

Can I also print things double sided, or in booklet format (4 pages per paper, back and front), or must they be one side and one page per paper?

Thanks in advance guys.

you can print double sided no problem....and booklet format is fine as well........not sure what .csv format is!!!

I just took screen captures of a few of ours and printed them on our printer's photo print program. Four on each page.

.csv is a file type, generally opened by excel. I found a way to export your sms from android phone into text or .csv, with date, time, number, name, direction (incoming/outgoing), and message, then turn it into a table using excel. So I was wondering if this is sufficient or is it better to go the screen capture way?

Was this sufficient? Just to print a few? Because some people have me worried saying, you should do as many as possible, but I have over 1500 text messages, and more than anything, I just think this is a waste of paper.

this should be fine......you should send as many as you are comfortable with....depending on your individual circumstances whether common-law/conjugal/married and depending on your VO.....

Does one of those statuses require more proof than others? I'm married, does that require more or less? And what's VO?

yes.......common-law you hae to prove you lived together for at least a year......conjugal you have to prove that you have a relationship but are unable to live together...whereas when you are married you provide your marriage certificate......but having said that all of these you need to provide proof of the progression of your relationship....that it is "bone fide" through pictures and various modes of communication and travel.....etc.

So since you say you are married.....try to provide proof from when you met till know through pictures/phone bills/emails/texts/travel to see each other etc.....it will all be laid out in the document checklist for you.....

sorry....VO= Visa Office......for example my VO is Havana and because marriages are flagged there for high number of fradulent cases your proof needs to be very concrete!!!
