Hello, Just wondering if anyone can give me some information regarding the processing timeline at Buffalo, NY. I have applied in December, 2006 and got AOR January 2007. Also does anyone knows how the medical works if I am in US and my wife is in my home country. Can we do medical in different country? Does CIC gives any priority to people who have been educated and worked in US?

I am Maulik from USA.I am in USA on H1B.I am in USA for last 6 months only.

I want to put up my immigration file from Buffalo office here in USA.

I am leaving USA in 15-20 days now as i dont have good job over here.But i want to put up my immigration file before i leave USA.

My doubt is...

1) Can i put my file from Buffalo office ?? I am here in USA for last 6 months only.

I have 3 years of H1B Visa till Nov-2009.

Please reply me as i want to leave USA soon.

Since you are in the US with Visa for more than 1 yr (H1B-3yrs+3yrs), you can apply to Buffalo before leaving for India.

Hi Sajjad,

You can get your medicals here and send the medicals for your wife and children in your home country. They can it done by DMP (in their home country)

There is no priority given by CIC. It only depends where you had sent your application.
